Query re: tampons for 13 year old
Hi there. A friends' child has recently started her period. (13 yrs old) She does water polo, and therefore does not want to use a sanitary pad. At what age can one start using tampons from? Are they safe for young girls? Pls help, as her mother is at a loss. Tks
Hi Cat
You can use tampons with your first periods. There is now great new tampons for beginners. They come with the small Leigh-letts tampons in a green packet. They come in small little holders with lubrication. This helps for first time users because it is a bit moist and this makes it easier to insert.
It is safe and hygienic to use tampons.
Good luck
