yoga and toning
Hi there, i recently found a yoga studio that i can go to, as i heard that it is a great way of toning the muscles. Im a very active person and i go to gym everyday, my question is, what excersises correlates well with yoga to obtain optimal results?
Hi Natalie,
Yoga is a complete system, you don't need any other exercise to complement your yoga practice.
Yoga offers you strength throughout your whole body, flexibility, muscle tone, mental toning, cardio-vascular benefits for your heart, organ toning and health, and more...
If you like more active/vigorous exercise you might consider trying Ashtanga yoga or vinyasa yoga which offer the toning benefits of yoga, but are more dynamic than some hatha yoga classes.
