Strapping methods for ankle sprains

Bandage the ankle in a figure of eight action and wrap around the instep twice then stretch
the bandage diagonally upwards over the foot.
Now continue by bringing the bandage around the ankle and heel toward the front of the foot and then
diagonally across the
instep and beneath
the arch of the foot.
Using figure of eight turns continue to wrap the bandage., each wrap of the bandage should overlap the previouos one by about three quarters of the bandage width.
After securely wrapping the ankle and foot secure the ends of the bandage with clips, tape safety pins or a knot.
