Medical practitioners will now have additional help with ascertaining whether a Covid-19 patient could die from the virus, new research has shown.
The study from the University of Copenhagen used data fed to a computer to assess Covid-19 patients’ chances of survival.
Scientists used health information of 3 944 Danish Covid-19 patients. They used data such as body mass index, gender and high blood pressure, which they fed into a computer. The computer then assessed their chances of survival.
