Tests: two to six

Unless there is cause for concern, no check-ups are required during early childhood. As your child approaches schoolgoing age, you may decide to have your child assessed for school readiness. Your child’s pre-school may assess your child or may refer you to a school clinic or educational psychologist for assessment.
