I couldn’t save my baby

Death is so final, and when parents lose a child to illness or an accident, we can’t begin to measure the extent of their grief.

But it doesn’t stop at emotional pain. We are geared to protect our children from all possible harm, and so grieving parents are often tormented by guilt. A mother tells of her loss, and the guilt she suffered over the death of her baby son due to a viral infection.
