No folly in folic acid

Folic acid should be taken regularly by all pregnant mums and people with a low immunity to disease. This nutrient prevents spina bifida in unborn babies and can play a role in cancer prevention. A sufficient daily intake of folic acid is necessary as excess amounts are excreted in the urine, rather than stored for later use.

Take action

Enjoy the benefits by eating a fist-sized portion of beans, spinach, broccoli or avocado every day. If you are pregnant or hoping to become so, take 400 microgram in supplement form per day.
