Lazy Sunday afternoons

Remember those boring Sunday afternoons as a kid, when everyone had to go and rest after the long Sunday lunch? Well, perhaps your parents didn't have that afternoon nap after all.

Life gets busy when you have kids and it can be difficult to find some private time with your spouse. Take a page from your parents' book and create some Sunday afternoon magic.

Once your kids are a bit older, there’s no reason why you can’t leave them to their own devices for an hour or so. While mom and dad are enjoying their Sunday afternoon nap, the kids can enjoy some down-time by reading, watching a movie or playing with their latest electronic gadgets.

Soon "dessert after your Sunday lunch" will have a whole new meaning for you.

Build up anticipation earlier in the day by putting on some sexy underwear, your favourite perfume and sending an SMS sharing the naughty things you’re planning to do in the afternoon.

You know your partner best. Explore each other’s bodies and indulge in its pleasures before dozing off for a 30 minute nap.

Sunday afternoon sex does not have to be slow and lazy. It also doesn't have to be limited to a quickie, just make sure the kids are occupied so that you have the freedom to sex up those Sundays.

Not only will your spouse thank you for keeping the flame alive, but your kids will also thank you one day when they realise the true value of this little family tradition.
