EDTA suppositories
Are EDTA Suppositories a good substitute for IV EDTA ?
Hi Michelle thank you for the question.
There are very few studies that compare IV versus rectal
EDTA but from the few that I have seen there does seem to be an equivalent
effect. Please note that the studies have mostly focused on removal of toxic
metals and one study on Research Gate showed that half life of the EDTA was
around 4 times higher for the rectal administration.
So in a nutshell yes it seems that it is an effective alternative
but this should be only considered under the supervision of your medical family
doctor.
I hope the above has helped.
Kind regards
