Bad breath
Hi Dr
I have a 9-year-old boy who is battling with bad breath despite him brushing twice a day, his teeth become yellow and we have to literally scrub the teeth.
I took him to the dentist who said , i cant do much about the bad breath because its hormonal, he is approaching puberty? Is this possible ?is there any thing i can do to improve the smell of his breath?
Regards
Posh
Children of that age often have bad breath. If your dentist says there is no dental cause the only other remote option is a problem with his stomach. (very unlikely).
Make sure you brush his tongue thoroughly as well- this helps with bad breath.
