Depression and severe anger
Hi there, I have been at home since April with my 3 year old toddler and my 7 month old baby. Due to the Covid pandemic I do not go anywhere unless absolutely necessary! I have been feeling very down and depressed as I also got retrenched upon my return to work. These feeling have just been escalating but now has come to a point where I do need help. I do feel very overwhelmed at times as It is not an easy task having two boys and I need to cook, clean, do washing... The list goes on! I do not eat properly or drink enough fluids during the day as I am always very busy running after the kids which does not help towards how I am feeling. I get very angry and so frustrated at pretty much everything lately.., A work colleague of mine was on Nuzak and i was wondering if these tablets would help me?

Hello Cherene
Sorry to hear about this. Remember, its important for you to look after yourself, and to eat and drink properly, for the children's sake. You don't mention a husband or partner, which would mean you are alone in providing all this care ? If there is a partner, they must also pull their weight in chores and caring.  Seeing a good counselor could be helpful, to explore the individual issues and review the range of possible solutions.  Drugs like Nuzak may be helpful in treating a formal Depression, properly diagnosed by a doctor, but they don't specifically help one to cope with problem situations in general.  Do you have family and friends who could help, including helping you to talk about the problems that arise ?
