My non-financial contribution
Hi, My husband says that my non-monetary contributions to our life don't count as financial contributions. I do the housework (he's a pig in the house), laundry, tutor / mind and do everything for my deaf stepchild (13), a lot of the cooking, gardening. I made him a beautiful home, am a loyal, kind and understanding wife. I earn a small salary (work from home) and contrbute what I can. He told me I only contribute 23% and the rest doesn't matter and that one cannot attribute any value to this between us and even in a Court of law. I wish I had the money to divorce him but I cannot support myself, I haven't got family to help and I have nowhere to go. Apart from the acute mental and emotional anguish this causes me, where do I actually stand in a Court of Law? Married ANC without accrual. I am 56 so getting better employment is going to be difficult to impossible. Married 4 years. His 2nd marriage and my 1st. He doesn't have assets and neither do I since we lost it all (another story).
