Dear Anonymous,

Fertility does decline in men with increasing age just as it does in women. But fortunately for men, this is generally at a slower rate and while it may be very difficult for a women of age 45 to conceive naturally, men at the same age might not have any problems at all. You can also do a baseline semen analysis if you want to confirm that all the parameters are within normal range before trying to conceive.
