Provera
Is it safe to take 20mg of provera day after had unprotected intercourse during my ovulation day? Trying to conceive but have issues with hormonal imbalances, irregular period (not ovulating last cycle) that's why have to take provera. Thank you.
Dear
June,
I am not sure why you
would be taking provera on your ovulation day. This makes no sense at all. You
mention that you have hormonal imbalance and problems with anovulation and
hence irregular cycles. The provera was likely prescribed to assist you to
bring on a period.
Please consult with
your gynaecologist to provide you with clarity regarding your medication. You
may also want to consider asking your gynae to prescribe you some medication to
assist with ovulation.
