Pregnancy
Hi, my daughter inlaw is 10 weeks pregnant. Had a miscarriage last year at 12/13 weeks. She went to the doctor today and her blood pressure was high.. The doctor gave her hypotone 250mg, 1 tablet once daily.. Is it something to worry about, her gynaecologist appointment is only in 2 weeks' time. Do we need to try and get an earlier appointment?
It should not be necessary for an earlier appointment. Hypotone is safe in pregnancy and is the correct antihyperetensive to use.
Best wishes
