Dear Despina, I have trouble in the best relationship of my life because my boyfriend uses camsites (watches camgirls / pays for private shows). He had a 7 years habit of using them (about twice a week). We have been together 2 years. I discovered about that habit 3 months ago. I realised why I had felt a wall between us all this time. I asked him to stop cold turkey initially but he could not and it led him to lie. However the revelation brought us closer. It also helped him because he never opened up about it before. He saw a therapist for a month, and I relaxed about the whole camgirls subject, so that pressure and shame/guilt would not trigger his urges anymore. He still browses these sites quite often he confessed, but pays for a private show once every couple of weeks now. I saw the changes in his behaviour with me too, he is much more present in every way. Although I am happy with his progress, I feel still hurt that he did not leave it all for me.
