Sinus inflammation and fever
Evening, I took my 3-year-old to the pharmacy with regards to her coughing, sinus problem and fever in her right ear. The pharmacist said that he thinks her sinuses have inflammation due to the green colour of the mucus when she sneezes. He also said that he thinks she might have an ear infection. He said that I should give her Trifen and steam with vicks or Karvol. She still has a fever in both ears now. Can I give her Trifen Syrup and an Empaped suppository? Thank you

Sounds like she needs to see a doctor. Could be an infected rhinosinusitis. Those medications may help with pain and fever but won’t treat the underlying cause.
