Are we too clean for our own good? Science says there's no need to worry about this.

Many people are concerned that hygiene and cleanliness could weaken our immune systems, leaving us, and particularly our children, more vulnerable to viruses and bacteria.

It's been doing the rounds for years, and seems to have resurfaced – especially now that the Covid-19 pandemic is encouraging us to meticulously clean and sanitise ourselves and the spaces we occupy.
