Britains antivirus pill could reduce Covid-19 symptoms

It's been almost two years since the first Covid-19 cases were detected and since then, more than 255 million people all over the world have been infected.

Science has made strides in its efforts to tackle the virus that causes Covid-19, such as the development of effective vaccines that reduce the risk of severe disease and death. 

Now pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer, Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics have released the news that antiviral pills could be used to treat Covid-19.
