Some people who have largely recovered from the worst effects of Covid-19 infection still display symptoms many weeks or months later. According to the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the symptoms can be classified as new, returning or ongoing.

Known as "long Covid" or post-Covid syndrome, the symptoms experienced range from fatigue to shortness of breath and loss of taste or smell. And, according to a new study, there are 203 different long Covid symptoms across 10 different organ systems in the body.

The study is the largest international study of "long haulers" to date and was led by University College London researchers (UCL).
