Over the past few months, researchers have warned about the dangers of a lingering post-Covid syndrome, known as long Covid, that puts patients at risk long after the virus had left their bodies.

In most instances, it takes a severe physical and emotional toll on patients, making their return to normal life an uphill battle.

A new study by researchers from the University of Oxford and the National Institute for Health Research emphasises the need for a targeted treatment approach for these patients.
