Research published in Science evaluated how the humoral immune response can differ between children and adults, especially regarding how the immune system responds to Covid-19 infection.

The human immune system uses vital cells to combat viruses. These are the T cells, B cells, macrophages and many more. Even though all humans have the same cell structure, it does not mean everyone has the same protection against diseases.
