This is a great project to keep the kids occupied! Make sure you help them with the hot glue gun so little fingers don’t get burnt.
You will need:
- Nespresso pods (foil removed and cleaned)
- hot glue gun
- string
- wooden beads in various sizes
- marker ribbon cotton wool stick
Make a snowman
Thread a piece of string through two large beads, a medium-sized one and then through a Nespresso pod. Tie a knot at the bottom of the last large bead. Glue the pod at an angle onto the medium-sized bead so that it sits like a hat. Draw a face and buttons. Tie a piece of ribbon around the beads like a scarf.
Make a Father Christmas
Thread string through a large bead and a Nespresso pod. Tie a knot at the bottom. Glue the pod at an angle onto the medium-sized bead so that it sits like a hat. Cut off a piece of cotton wool to form a beard and glue it on with the hot glue gun. Draw eyes with the marker.
Make bells
Thread two pieces of string through a Nespresso pod and attach small beads to the ends of the string so that the beads just peek out from the bottom of the pod.
Attach all the decorations to a stick and hang them up, or hang them on your Christmas tree.
