Keen to enter the Tjhoko Champs competition? Initially, you could only upload your entry (or entries) on Instagram, but now you can also do so on Facebook. Follow these easy steps to upload your entry.

Follow these steps for Instagram:

Step 1: Open your Instagram profile and click on the plus icon in the top right-hand corner.

Step 2: Select “Post”.

Step 3: The photos that are on your phone will now appear (see the blocks in the photo above). Choose the photo/photos of your Tjhoko project. Click on the photo to select it.

If you want to upload more than one photo of the project, press a little harder with your finger on the photo. A “1” will then appear in the corner. Now select the other photos you want to upload by clicking on them.

Once you have selected all the photos, click “Next”. Some devices might have an arrow instead of the word “next”.

Step 4: If you don’t want to do any further editing, click on “Next”/the arrow.

Step 5: Add a write-up of the project and include these hashtags: #tjhokochamps2021 and #tuishomemag. Then click on "Share".

How to make sure your profile is not on private:

Step 1: Press the three dashes on the top right corner of your profile.

Step 2: Select “Settings”.

Step 3: Select “Privacy”.

Step 4: Now make sure that your profile is not set to private. It will look like the example above.

Follow these steps for Facebook:

Step 1: Start a new post on your Facebook page and select the “Photo/Video” option.

Step 2: Make sure it says “Public”. This will allow us to also see your entry. If it does not say “Public”, click on it and select the correct option. Then select the photo icon (circled on the screenshot above) and select the photos you want to upload.

Step 3: Remember to include a description of your project as well as these hashtags: #tuishomemag and #tjhokochamps2021. Once you are happy with your entry, select "post".
