Get creative: Join us at our Tjhoko Paint workshops.

Love to decorate with chalk paint? Join us at our Tjhoko Paint workshops and find out how to make the most of this versatile product.

Proudly South African Tjhoko Paint is collaborating with Home to present two new workshops in Pretoria and Stellenbosch. Tjhoko Paint expert Nadine Vosloo will show readers how to make their own beautiful table décor – and share tips and tricks on how to use chalk paint to best effect. The workshops are also ideal for ‘DIY brides’ or Grade 11 pupils involved in organising the Matric dance!

The workshops

We can accommodate between 40 and 45 people in each four-hour workshop to ensure that everyone receives individual attention. The following projects will be completed under Nadine’s guidance (and you get to take them all home!):

1 Create an ombre cheeseboard in the colours of your choice.

2 Learn how to apply a distressed effect and finish it off with Tjhoko Paint’s Stencil of Paris.

3 Decorate a 250ml Consol bottle – ideal for jam or bread sticks on your breakfast table.

4 Stencil a napkin.

The workshop costs R650 per person; Tjhoko Paint will provide all the materials and Home will provide refreshments and a goodie bag. (Workshop and goodie bag valued at R800.) And you get to take all your projects home with you!
