Letting off steam is one thing. But real steam created by hot water in a humid environment – such as your bathroom – necessitates the use of high-quality paint. Tjhoko Paint is the solution.
The Jouberts of Pretoria wanted their main bedroom’s en suite to be a haven of tranquillity and a balm for the soul. Their colour choice was Da’vid, an off-white with a subtle antique look that perfectly complements their bedroom.
Tjhoko’s Inspired Wall Colours, a low-gloss PVA, was applied to the walls. This quality acrylic paint is washable, durable and stain-resistant – perfect for any space in your home, including bathrooms.
The furniture was first thoroughly cleaned with lacquer thinners (feel free to email support@tjhokopaint.co.za if you need technical advice for this step) and then painted with ordinary Tjhoko Paint chalk paint. Afterwards, it was sealed with Tjhoko Clear Glaze to provide additional protection against humidity and steam.
As a finishing touch, black accessories were added to create contrast to the greenery. Stylish, elegant and classic!
