Personalise your store-bought lanterns and extend their life with Woodoc.
You will need:
- store-bought wooden lanterns
- Woodoc Water-Borne DECK Matt Clear
- Woodoc Colours in Full Moon and Deep Plum
- containers and sticks for mixing
- paintbrushes
How to
1 Mix the Woodoc Colours with the Woodoc Water-Borne DECK Matt Clearin separate containers.
2 On one of the lanterns we painted a simple pattern of triangles with an artist brush in the colour Deep Plum.
3 Let it dry then seal it with two coats of Woodoc Water-Borne DECKMatt Clear.
4 We gave the other lantern a new look by painting it with two coats of the Full Moon Colours mixture.
5 Note:Woodoc recommends that you sand down the wood before sealing it and that you do a light sanding after the first and second coats of sealer have been applied.
