Ingredients
- 500g - pork sausages
- 30ml - olive oil
- 1bunch - spring onions, chopped
- 1 - garlic clove, chopped
- 1 - thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, cut into strips
- 1 - red chilli, chopped
- 1 - small head of cabbage, shredded
- 1 - large carrot, grated
- 40ml - soy sauce
Method
A tasty dish that doesn't cost much to make.
Carefully remove the pork sausages from their casings, cut each filling into 4 pieces and roll them into balls. Fry in the heated olive oil until golden brown and cooked. Spoon out and keep warm.
Fry the spring onions, garlic, chilli, ginger, cabbage and carrot in the same frying pan over high heat until glossy and just cooked. Add the soy sauce and simmer for at least one more minute.
Serve the cabbage stir-fry and pork rissoles on jasmine rice or noodles, accompanied by extra soy sauce and fresh coriander.
