Ingredients
- - fresh thyme or mint sprigs
- 1 - lemon, sliced
- - watermelon slices
- about ¼ - watermelon, chopped
- 500ml - strongly brewed rooibos tea, cooled
- 100–200ml - sugar syrup
Method
Drink a toast to the festive season!
1. Juice the watermelon pieces or blend them and strain through a sieve.
2. Mix the watermelon juice with the rooibos tea and add sugar syrup to taste. Add the lemon slices and refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. Serve with extra slices of watermelon, thyme or mint sprigs and plenty of ice.
