Pan-fried red sweet peppers

Ingredients
  • 8.00peppers - red sweet peppers, halved and seeded
  • 100.00ml - olive oil
  • 5.00cloves - large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 15.00ml - fresh thyme leaves
  • 10.00ml - fresh origanum leaves
  • 30.00ml - balsamic vinegar
Method

1. Slice the red sweet peppers into strips. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the peppers until soft (about 15 minutes). Add the garlic, thyme and origanum and stir-fry for another minute. Add the balsamic vinegar and then set aside until ready to serve.
