Aloe ‘Pink Blush’ is a striking miniature aloe hybrid that gets its name from the pink edging to its roughly textured leaves that are light and dark mottled-green. Its rosette-like leaves form a clump, 30cm tall and wide.
How to grow Plant outdoors in semi-shade to full sun but allow it to acclimatise to full sun. It needs soil that drains well. Do not overwater and don’t let it sit in water, especially if grown as an indoor pot plant. These plants are not frost tolerant, although they will survive in cold temperatures down to 4.5°C. If grown as an indoor plant, it needs strong, bright indirect light and a warm room. Fertilise once in spring. Repotting is only necessary after a number of years because it is a slow grower. It easily produces offsets which can be separated from the mother plant and transplanted.
Garden uses It can be used in mixed containers with other succulents or in an arrangement of identical containers as a feature. It stands out in a mixed succulent bed if planted in groups of three or five plants, towards the front of the bed. Being compact and low-growing, it is ideal for small gardens, producing dainty wands of tubular coral blooms.
