These versatile rolls are delicious with butter, cheese and honey, or use them as slider buns filled with braaied meat and coleslaw.
1. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and add the wet ingredients. Mix the dough with your hands until it comes together. Turn out onto a floured surface and continue kneading until smooth and elastic – this takes about 10 minutes and it’s worth the effort!
