  • Premium cycling performance brand, MAAP, has added new colourways to its range.
  • The latest MAAP collection updates feature bright and subtle tones, allowing riders to mix and match for their desired look.
  • Thermal adaptability and aerodynamic efficiency are performance riding principles for MAAP. But that doesn’t mean MAAP kit can’t be fashionable, too.

Australian cycling fashion and apparel brand, MAAP, has revealed its new colour sensibilities for the second half of 2022.

Its Melbourne domiciled design team have updated a significant amount of the MAAP portfolio with new colours.

At heart, even the shyest and humblest riders yearn to match their riding kit with frame and component colours.

For those riders who follow a committed layering approach to their riding outfits, there are new colours in the Evade, Evolve and Draft ranges. These high-performance cycling jerseys and jackets are designed to be aerodynamic, comfortable and fashionable.

Rider sensible features

"Our customers love our existing Evade, Evolve, Draft and Team Bib Evo kit, so it’s a no-brainer to refresh them with new colourways that are perfect for a new season out on the road," says Oliver Cousins, MAAP co-founder.

Sourcing only the best Italian performance fabrics, MAAP’s designers diligently engineer the brand’s jerseys and jackets.

MAAP cycling kit includes all those features that riders prize on the bike. From zippers that move without stiction but remain in place when required to pockets that don’t bounce items.

Layering can be an annoying experience, with ill-designed garments. MAAP’s range is shaped and textured, for excellent layering. (Photo: MAAP)

Sun smart riding

As expected from an Australian brand, MAAP garments are excellently adapted to a spectrum of thermal riding conditions.

Sun awareness occasionally goes amiss in European apparel design, and MAAP’s adherence to the best UV-protection standards for its product range will be heartening to South African riders. Specifically, those who spend significant training volumes out on the road, in harsh sunlight.

Colours that match with everything

The men’s and women’s Evade, Evolve, Draft and Evo bibs are available in a palette of fashionable new colourways for those riders treating themselves to some second-half 2022 upgrades.

Some of these new hues are earth tones, which complement nearly any bike. Whether an elegant steel frame with subtle graphic finishing or a carbon monocoque with bright paint.

The refreshed Evade, Evolve, and Draft collections from MAAP also feature brighter colour options for riders who prefer to reveal that extrovert streak on the bike.
