South African Alan Hatherly has been the star Cannondale Factory racing rider during the 2022 XCO World Cup series. He is currently in fourth position on the overall standings with the final round, in Italy, to go.

The world’s best mountain bikers have travelled to France for the UCI World Championships, scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, in Les Gets. Hatherly is one of the favourites for a medal.

This is Hatherly’s second year on the Cannondale squad. His Scalpel is kept in immaculate condition by fellow South African, Jean-Pierre Jacobs, who is now an integral part of the Cannondale Factory racing squad.
