The demise of Qhubeka NextHash late last year, was a shock for African pro cycling.

It left staff and riders, like Reinardt Janse van Rensburg, without options and a narrowing window of opportunity. The 2022 World Tour cycling season has kicked off and Janse Van Rensburg remains in South Africa.

During his career, Janse van Rensburg has been a stalwart of the only African team in the World Tour peloton, with six appearances at the Tour De France.
