The KZN floods were an enormous tragedy for South Africa's second-most populous province. At least 435 people lost their lives, with an unknown number of people missing.
Thousands of homes washed away. Significant water damage extended to major roads, transportation, and critical infrastructure.
KZN's mountain bike trails weren't spared. Although not an essential part of the province's infrastructure, these trails serve a mindfulness function for local riders.
