Jonkershoek is generally unrivalled in the ranking of South African mountain bike trails. With its towering mountains, Jonkershoek is a rider's paradise.

And if anybody needs any further proof of this, Commencal's latest video, STOF BOER - featuring Théo Erlangsen, is a choice example.

With an all-South African crew by his side, Théo Erlangsen had the opportunity to curate his cinematic masterpiece — with the freedom to choose his lines, jumps, angles, and shots.

However, one thing Théo didn't have was time. With one digger, the South African rider had to turn all his ideas into reality within eight days.

"It's good to build something with the film in mind, because you can build features that look good specifically for filming. I managed to build some stuff I've been dreaming of doing for years, so I was hyped!"

"[I was] quite stressed, because it's not an exact science. You have to look at the slope of the hill and judge the speed you'll get to see how big to make the jumps and where to put corners."
