The UCI World Championships for mountain biking is all about bright colourways and national pride. On this event weekend, riders exchange their usual pro team kit for national colours.

Custom frame colours and graphics are also all the rage for the UCI World Championships. And of all the riders vying for those coveted rainbow jerseys in Les Gets, nobody has ridden more World Championship events than Greg Minnaar.

Although Minnaar’s Santa Cruz V10 downhill bike is finished in quite a subdued colourway for World Champs, with dark paintwork and gold detailing, his garment game is on-point. Minnaar is known as one of the most fashion-conscious mountain bikers, regularly complimented for his sartorial taste off the bike.
