The Covid-19 pandemic has left many South African's without work, as South Africa's Matric students complete their exams soon, many of them will also be joining the job market. 

So we've compiled a list of job centres that make finding work easier. You can visit or contact any one of these centres for advice, support and access to temporary, contract or permanent placements at a variety of business across South Africa.

What to take with you

When visiting job centres to look for employment, job seekers must bring their certified copies of their South African ID, or if they are from a country other than South Africa, their passport. 

Job seekers must have also be armed with their updated CV, and certified copies of their Matric certificate and other qualifications.

Job centres across SA

1. Isilumko staffing 

Isilumko staffing is situated in four provinces in South Africa. It offers recruitment solutions including temporary, contract or permanent placement.

2.Lulaway

Lulaway is a youth employment engine that has established a network of over 200 job centres located in communities affected mainly by unemployment.

3. Communicate recruitment 

This company specialises in the placement of individuals looking for employment opportunities in Engineering, IT and Finance.

You register your CV on their website, or contact their Gauteng Sunning Hill branch at 011 318 2101 or their Cape Town Branch at 021 418 1750.

4. Job link recruitment

This recruitment agency is located in the Western Cape. It prides itself on quality placement in several job categories. 

You can browse different employment opportunities that are available on their website, and if you are interested in a particular job, contact the agent that is tied to the job category. The agent's email addresses are specified in each job board.

5. Executive recruitment

This recruitment solutions company focuses exclusively on the permanent placement of highly specialised engineering and financial candidates.

Browse jobs on their website and apply or contact their head office in Cape Town for more information on 021 001 0005.

6. Frogg recruitment agency

Frogg is a traditional recruitment agency that helps job seekers with permanent and fixed term contract placements in different industries.

Browse their job openings on their website and submit your CVs to keep them in their database. You can email them directly at info@froggsa.co.za or call them at 21 556 5598.

7. Only the best

This recruitment agency offers a variety of learnerships, internships, permanent, temporary and contingent employment and disability staffing.

8. Grey recruitment agency

Grey recruitment agency assists job seekers with temporary and permanent employment. Skilled and unskilled job seekers are encouraged to update and submit their CVs on their website to keep them in their database.

You can also hand-deliver your documents to their locations in Durban, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and Cape Town. The agency has various vacancies available on their website, from Human resources to Project Management. Contact their head office directly at 031 312 6453.

9. Key recruitment agency

This agency offers job seekers employment, preparation for interviews and CV preparation tips, as well as a range of jobs including IT, Engineering, Science and Digital.
