accreditation

Certain nutrients are essential during pregnancy, and one of those is called folic acid, a B-vitamin.  It helps prevent any spinal defects in your baby.

Whilst you can get folic acid from foods, it’s been shown that taking a supplement that provides a minimum of 400 micrograms of folic acid per day, helps prevent these defects. Up to 800 micrograms is safe to take every day.
