We've asked our readers which romantic, but fictional world they'd love to live in. From Victoria era inspired book worlds, to modern, hot and kinky settings, our reader responses were delightfully varied.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I love the period setting and the gorgeous romantic clothes.
Katie
Any romance novel written by Nicholas Sparks. He is the king of romance novels and to choose only ONE is a ridiculous request. However, if I really had to choose, I'd opt for Dear John. There's just something endearing about the depression and feeling of loss when you can't be with the one you love.
Jade
I would love to live in the world of Fifty Shades of Grey. Oh, to be possessed by such a nymph of a man, would be an absolute dream come true for me.
Kim
Gone with the wind! Rhett Butler: "No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how!" Need I say more...
Colleen
Lady Chatterly's Lover, because I consider that to be a period when romantic was still actually romantic.
Annelize
Any of the Amanda Quick Historical romances. The heroine often reminds me of myself, a determined woman who often is bookish, loves dashing men and is willing to do anything to save the ones she loves.
Sharon
Black Hills by Nora Roberts. i love nature and animals and her characters are so true to life. i could close my eyes and see myself there and on top of that a sexy romance enfolds also. What's not to love?
Delanie
I would love to have lived in the old times: beautiful clothes and undercover desires . Think The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever (Bevelstoke, #1) by Julia Quinn.
