South Africa’s powerhouse design duo, Malcolm Kluk and Christiaan Gabriel du Toit of Kluk CGDT have ended off Mercedez Benz Fashion Week Africa with a bang as the winners of the Designer Of The Year Award.
The two became a design duo in 2005, where the well known KLUK label became locally and internationally recognized as KLUK CGDT.
Fashion industry expert Robyn Cooke, of Styleguide Cape Town, says their show was amaze, with modern, hip and edgy designs that were, as always, exquisitely finished.
The designers, who she calls masters of local fashion, have apparently revived the fashion industry with their latest looks.
We weren’t there, but if the pictures are anything to go by, we completely agree. Well done guys!
