Tests: six to twelve

Unless there is cause for concern, no tests are required during this period. Screening for vision, hearing and skeletal (e.g. scoliosis) problems are usually conducted at schools.

It is a good idea to have a good relationship with your child’s teacher as the classroom is often the first place where problems (especially motor and learning problems) are identified.
