To keep up with the fashion decorum, fashion houses redefined the rules by hosting virtual fashion shows or curating content online to keep brands alive.
With all this creativity seen over the last 18 months, there is nothing that comes close to the thrill of a red carpet event and not just any other, but the Met Gala.
The biggest night in fashion finally took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City after being cancelled in 2020 and postponed to a later date in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Vogue-editor-in-chief and Met Gala organiser, Anna Wintour wore a De la Renta mermaid shaped and long-sleeved flowery gown with a ruffle train.
She has organised and presided over the Met Gala since the 90s.
While on the red carpet, reporters asked Anna what the biggest challenge was with organising such a big event.
"Covid protocols," she said.

Covid had the world on its knees for a while and forced people to adjust to a new normal with minimal or no physical interaction with each other, so a night like this one, was a breather.
Rapper Nicki Minaj did not did not attend due to the event's vaccination policy.
