While no official announcements have been made, the Department of Basic Education has hinted that rotational teaching may soon be a thing of the past, and many teachers are bracing themselves for the return of full-capacity classes and pre-Covid-19 class schedules.

For many, the return comes with concerns around safety due to overcrowding and whether learners will have developed unproductive habits over the past year.
