The 18th edition of Dakar Fashion Week hosts its main catwalk in a baobab forest in Senegal to maintain some social distancing.
Shows are held outside in a baobab forest due to Covid-19 restrictions.
"With Covid, we had to be creative, I had to find solutions and above all we had to avoid cancelling the show and here I think there is enough space so that no one feels cramped," says Adama Ndiaye, producer of Dakar Fashion Week.
Fashion designer Sabrina Diouf says, "It's an event that promotes African culture and it is very important to show all that we have, all all the richness that we have in Africa, we have so many magnificent things."
