As the 2021 academic year comes to a close, schools become increasingly concerned about outstanding fees and begin to resort to extreme and sometimes illegal measures to ensure payment is made.

One of these steps was to deny certain privileges until fees were settled, as this concerned parent revealed when he wrote to ask us about his situation.

The worried dad said he fell behind with school fees but was trying to pay monthly, adding that he advised the school he would continue paying until the fees were paid up.
