Every year baby fever takes over Celebville, and 2021 is no different.

The most recent, and potentially most surprising announcement was made by DJ Zinhle, who even ended up trending on Twitter with the reveal of her second pregnancy

DJ Zinhle is counted among several famous personalities who dropped pregnancy news this year. Here we list some of the local celebrities who announced pregnancies, did gender reveals and celebrated baby showers so far in 2021.

1. DJ Zinhle pregnant with second baby

In the surprise post we didn't know we needed, DJ Zinhle took to Instagram to confirm that she is expecting baby no. 2 with Bongani Mohosana, a member of the music group Black Motion.

2. Millicent Mashile welcomes her third baby

TV and radio presenter, Millicent Mashile is set to welcome her third baby with her husband Pontsho Mashile.

Mashile wrote on Instagram, "God put a big smile on my face. We are happy to announce that we are expecting our 3rd bundle of blessing. I feel so blessed, to God be the glory."

She then shared pictures revealing she was carrying a girl in a stunning series of photos including her twin sister Innocent Sadiki, who plays Sthoko on SABC 1's Skeem Saam.

The twin sisters have been playing a guessing game with their followers, with Sadiki posting an image showing her toddler daughter Ntombana snuggling her belly, adding that she "can't wait to be a big sister".

What made us unsure was the question she had at the end asking, "Whose really pregnant between me and @millymashile?"

We will soon find out, but congratulations to Innocent and her husband Phindulo Sadiki if she is REALLY pregnant.

3. Babes Wodumo welcomes her first baby

This past June, Babes Wodumo, known for her famous hit 'Wololo', announced via Instagram that she was pregnant.

Yana also posted an image the same day alongside a thank you message to her loved ones.

5. Sibusisiwe Jili announced pregnancy with baby no.2

But she kept the faith, and now she is a mom to two handsome boys.
