
24-year-old Sofía Jirau has become the first Victoria's Secret model with Downs syndrome.
The Puerto Rican shared the news on social media, saying: "One day I dreamed of it, I worked on it, and today it is a dream come true."
"I can finally tell you my secret," she continued, "I am the first Victoria's Secret model with Down syndrome!"
The model went on to thank those in her life for their continued support, as well as Victoria's Secret for "seeing me as a #NoLimits model and making me part of the Love Cloud Collection inclusion campaign."
"This is just the beginning," she wrote.

The Victoria's Secret Love Cloud Collection "is a major moment in the brand's evolution," the company's chief creative director Raúl Martinez told People in a statement.
"From the cast of incredible women that bring the collection to life, to the incredible inclusive spirit on set, this campaign is an important part of the new Victoria's Secret standard we are creating."
Sofía started her modelling career in Puerto Rico in 2019, and in 2020 made her debut at New York Fashion Week.
