Ever since Indian parents Preeti and Vinay Verma named their twins Corona and Covid, the internet has entertained itself with hilarious imaginings of future baby names like Covid Leigh, Kah'Rona, Pandemica, Quarantina, and Vyrus. 

And if a recent online feud between American social media influencer moms Jessica Hart and Sasha Benz is anything to go by, there's growing interest in the name Baby.

For Nameberry, collectors of more than two decades of baby name data in the US, trends in baby names for the coming year will be centred around "fun and fantasy with more serious themes of hope, strength and spirituality". 

Based on the search results of parents who visit their website, the self-proclaimed "ultimate baby names resource" has shared their top ten predictions on trending baby names in 2022.
